Vulcan Helps Hunter Street Baptist Church Run Comfortably
Hunter Street Baptist Church in Hoover, Alabama serves a large and active congregation every week. With nearly 3,000 attendees and more than 325,000 square feet of space, comfort is important. Supporting a campus of that size requires HVAC systems that perform consistently and a service partner that responds without hesitation.
Managing a Complex HVAC Environment
The church operates more than 100 HVAC units across the campus, including rooftop, ground and split systems. Keeping those systems balanced and reliable takes planning, precision and routine care. Our team works closely with Hunter Street to ensure every unit is accounted for and operating as intended.
Quarterly preventative maintenance is a key part of that strategy. Every three months, technicians are on-site checking filters, inspecting components and running systems to identify potential issues early. This proactive approach reduces downtime and helps prevent unexpected disruptions during services or events.
Faster Decisions Through Smart Controls
To simplify operations, we implemented a building automation system that gives the facilities team full visibility across the campus. Every unit can be monitored from a single screen. Temperature readings, system status and performance levels are available with just a click.
Instead of tracking down issues room by room, staff can quickly identify whether a problem is minor or needs immediate attention. That saves time, reduces unnecessary service calls and helps issues get resolved faster.
Reliability When It Matters Most
Responsiveness matters just as much as technology. When a call comes in, our team is ready to act. Quick response times help keep classrooms, worship spaces and offices comfortable without delay.
This partnership is built on trust, availability and consistent follow-through. Hunter Street Baptist Church can focus on serving its congregation, knowing the systems behind the scenes are supported by a team that shows up and gets the job done.
